Garden Daisies &my awesome big news~
Top: Topshop
Leather jacket: Bangkok
Midi skirt: Vintage
Sneakers: Superga
Bag: Alexander Wang
#Throwback random shoot my sister (@zxnn) and I took awhile back when I was in Singapore. 7 levels down from my apartment, this field of grass was so impromptu and the most convenient location we have ever decided and agreed on. The saturation of the grass and red gates in the background were perfect for my daisies printed midi skirt. During a vintage hunt, I dug through a pile of unwanted skirts in my usual market, hoping to find some winter clothing for my move to Europe later this year. (Yessss! My secret is out - Gbye Asia.) I managed to acquire couple of outerwear and warm wool skirts to survive the cold weather. But alas, this daisy printed skirt was my favourite gem of all, for now. The flower and colour of the skirt is perfect for this current season, but yet also prepping me for my beloved departure towards London - where the skies are gloomy and grey, but the cities cannot be more alive bustling with colours. I can't wait to tell you more about my itinerary around Europe and why I am moving to London. But for now, I am still on my 9-5 desk job, completing my final project for the Muslim Fasting Month festival. Until then, I hope you are having a fantastic Monday~
Sincerely,
Judi

Pop of Orange
Crop top: Topshop
Tweed skirt: Marni (Worn here as well)
Sneakers: Superga
Sunglasses: Ray ban
Clutch bag: Zara
The striking neon orange clutch isnt really mine. I bought them as a present along with some other goodies for my sister's 17th birthday present. As we were growing up (I was the older one by default), my clothes were always rummaged by my 5 years younger sister. Too often, I would be really upset and get mad at her for borrowing without asking. Clearly I wasn't very generous and had difficulties sharing back then. :/ Now, half her wardrobe is filled with stuff that I bought for her over the years and my unproclaimed unwanted clothes (which basically means that I have stopped wearing them). The other half is filled with potential pieces of clothing that I secretly adore. Sometimes, I would try to sneak my favourite few into my luggage and bring in back with me to Jakarta - hehe~ Sorry Zann.
I guess what I am trying to say is that we have been through so much together (think - shaving your legs when you were 6)and we naturally grew into young women with a more define personality. Its awesome how my sister is also my best friend and my favourite person.
I love you - x
Sincerely,
Judi

It's a Circus Carnival
Yet another splendid party organized by the hosts of the Gatsby house. Fire throwers; jugglers; tarot card reading; cotton candy; endless booze. It was a carnival indeed.
Thank you for the amazing circus you have created overnight with the craziest people turning up. I'll continue roller skating around until my time in Jakarta comes to an end. I love you girls- Sam/Alisa/Jane/Daisy/Agnes. You make loving J-town simple.
A night for one to never forget.
x
Also, special thanks to Alan Llewellyn for his sensational photography skills.
Lots of love~

Sister's Birthday.
Your hands wipe away tears that I cry. Your smile brings my heart such joy.
You're the best person any sister could ever ask for, and I would never ask for anything more.
My best friend, my sister, my girly.
I love you.
Sincerely,
Judi

Overalls & Me
Overalls: Bangkok ; Tee: Nikoo ; Acrylic wedge: Jeffrey Campbell ; Cap: ASOS ; Shades: Vintage Ray Bans
2 weekends ago, I was in Singapore for a 14 hours trip to tie up some loose ends.
Current city: Jakarta
Although my life have been pretty hectic with work and other stuff right now, I've still got Singapore at the back of my head. Catching up supper with my best friend and having early breakfast with my sister was definitely the highlight of my April. What my sister made me realise was that I have not been home in more than 2 months and that we miss each other too much. Now, I wouldn't blame her for getting mad at me. But at the same time, sometimes you just gotta go on a hiatus so you can freshen up and get back into the swing of things, don’t ya think? Hehe!
Anyway, this overalls was such a score (SGD$12) at the Terminal 21 mall in Bangkok. The tweed light weight fabric was exactly what was needed. It didn't cling onto my body unnecessarily, and neither was it too baggy. Just puuurfect~ Paired them with my over-worn vintage Ray Ban's, Jeffrey Campbell acrylic wedge, and a pretty not-so- basic tee. This black shimmery crew neck t-shirt that I got at a yard sale is probably the most versatile tee that I own. It is by an Indonesian local label, Nikoo. Trust me, this is definitely gonna be one of my favourites to be on rotation.
Ps: wearing basics; no prints, or bold colors, will always be my default outfit.
xx
Sincerely,
Judi

Strollin' Siam in Vintage
Bangkok as usual was productive and fruitful for shopping. Like I said before in one of my earlier post, my love for BKK is a never ending love story. It continues to surprise me each and every visit.
But as much as I love travelling, I am glad that this streak has come to a halt. I am physically drained from juggling my very hectic work schedules and impromptu travel plans. Not only did it tire me out, it has also succeeded in cutting a big fat hole in my wallet. I need to save for this "special" thing that might be happening in my life in the next couple of months. Not announcing it until its concrete. Don't wanna jinx it now, do we?
Picked out this very dainty vintage pleated dress in JJ market. If you have been following me long enough, you would acknowledge my style as anything but feminine. Although sometimes I try being girly, it never really turns out right. With that being said, this outfit was put together in less than 3 minutes.
My usual: Dresses with sneakers.
I am glad I have been known for pairing these 2 combination all the time. Which is exactly what I have done for this outfit. My Supergas never fail me.
Happy midweek everyone.
Sincerely,
Judi
