Shoes for the Lunar New Year

Hello everyone! How has the weekend been treatin' you?
With the Chinese New Year approaching, I hope you have done your '大扫除' (Spring cleaning). With that being said,  it also means that it is time to shop for new clothes! - Weeee! - I am guessing it probably is one of the best parts about this festive season (next to collecting red packets).
Started shopping for shoes first, and where better to go than to Onpedder! For those of you who didn't know, I started my career there. It was my first employment and probably the most memorable one to kick start my career. But I will save you from that boring story.

Anyway, you know your outfit will never be perfect without them shoes. I will tell you a little secret - Mid season sale has arrived in the store. Up to 40% discount...... SHUT UP!!! - I know. :) Quickly head down to Onpedder as soon as you can to get your fashion fixes.

My little lucite purse

Blouse: Picnic | Tartan Vest: Vintage | Skinny Jeans: Pull and Bear (Old) | Ankle Boots: Steve Madden (Similar here and here) | Lucite Purse: Vintage | Glasses: Thrifted

I miss wearing a vest over every outfit I had couple of years ago. They instantly make one's outfit look cooler and dressier. Found this beautiful tartan piece while doing some vintage shopping. I was so lucky to score them as they fit so perfectly. The pictures does no justice at all...
Also, I found this chain lucite purse while accidentally discovering a cute vintage shop in Seminyak, Bali. Squealed the moment it was in my hands. I was contemplating whether to get them or not because - it was very costly; I have something pretty similar; and I don't know if it was practical. I mean, how do I fit all my stuff into one small tiny purse. Yes, I am a big bag person. Will do a Whats In My Bag post one day.
But anyhoos, I got them. Love them. No complaints.

Happy Wednesday y'all.

Denim Cool.

Tank Top: Sister's | Cardigan: Mango | Denim Jeans: Vintage Levis | Bag: Michael Kors | Earrings: ASOS | Sneakers: Superga

This past weekend came and go in a blink of an eye. But it was filled with lots of emotions and things to do. And since I had to run around a lot, it was only logical to dress comfortably.
With a slightly dryer weather in the land of Singapore, I could finally toss aside my beloved Wellington boots after a whole week in them.
Threw on my trusty sneakers and finished the day without any pain.
Also, my all time favourite vintage denim has finally made its appearance in front of the lens.
I bought them a couple years ago and they have been on rotation on a monthly basis.
If you know me, surely you must have seen them before.
How could you not?

Anyway, I hope you guys have had a pleasant weekend, and lets embrace Monday together.
There is so much work to be done back in the office, due to next month's festive events - Chinese New Year/ Valentines Day/etc...
For now, stay calm and eat some sushi..
Omnomnom!

A reason to love the rain.

Knitted Cardigan: Random | Jeans: Warehouse | Quilted Wellington Boots: Sperry Top-Sider

All these months, I have been whining and complaining about Jakarta.
But the rain - the monsoon season, it gives me hope and love about this big chaotic city. Never have I ever had the right reasons to wear winter boots, winter coats, but mostly the boots. Rainstorm and floods are the closest to what seems like fall season to me.
These Sperry wellington boots served me well during these unfortunate weather. And to be honest, putting them on, I loved every moment of my feet sitting on the fleece lining. #firstworldissues (and guilty of it).

PS: I found a new love for Rotiboy bread. Omnomnom

Still can't get enough of floral prints.

Corset Tube: Topshop | Flared Pants: Dorothy Perkins (Similar here) | Cork Velcro Heels: Pedro Garcia

Hi :)
Just dropping by to say a quick hello before heading off to run some errands.
I am extremely in love with these flared floral printed pants I got couple months ago. Give the vibes of the 70's disco dancer (Not that I am one). Hope you like this look I pulled off.

Ok, gotta run! Dark clouds are looming the skies of Jakarta!!!
Ciao~

Floral in GIF!

Floral dress: Vintage | Sandals: Christian Louboutin | Shades: Ray Ban | Tote Bag: Picnic

 Happy midweek everyone!
For those of you who doesn't know, I am very fresh at blogging and I wanted to use this as a platform to share my love for fashion and vintage. I know my post are inconsistent and I wanna apologise for that. Only recently, statistic reality hit me in the face - for everyday you don't blog, you lose 20% or more of your readers. *Gasp!!!
With that being said, I would like to thank each and every one of you who has been reading me religiously. Your support has been a great encouragement and inspiration for me to continue this humble blog of mine with consistency.

Anyway, here I was wearing a vintage floral printed dress stolen from my mother's closet. Paired up with my most comfortable pair of Loubis gladiator espadrille sandals. Of course, my outfit was so light and casual because these images are taken from Bali, again. Oh, in one of the pictures, you could see the highlights of my hair which I really love. They are highlighted in a blonde shade and the base is an ash brown shade. So when my hair is let loose, you don't really see the blonde streaks unless tied up or brought in front. My hair has always been like this for the past one year, but I am still digging it, so no complaints. :)

Until then amigos. Ciao~

There you go. My first tear drop of 2013. A film that evoke my soft touch for children.

B for Beautiful

Tassel skirt: Topshop | Fringe Blouse: Zara | Embroidered Straw Clutch: Dorothy Perkins | Head Scarf: Diva | Shades: Vintage Ray Ban | Sneakers: Superga | Accessories: everywhere

This was one of the most unproductive day but most beautifully well spent.
It was my birthday and everything was all about relaxation and tranquility. Our first stop was at the most divine heavenly spa, Karma Kandara. It has amenities that redefine first class – private beach lagoon, bridges, stone walkways and little paths meander through vivid tropical gardens. Our private suite is an open air platform over looking the ocean. And just beside it is our very own hot tub with suana and outdoor shower. Everything was amazing as we were at the top of the mountains, in-taking nature at it's best state and nothing seems to bother us; Except halfway through our treatments, a monkey decided to join us. But that was more cute than it was disturbing.

After rejuvenating our souls, we headed to the most talked about Jimbaran Seafood Beach Club. Throughout the countless kilometers beach were rows and rows of seafood eating restaurants. We were there just in time to catch the (my very first) sunset. It was the most beautiful thing ever. Immediately, I had to beg Nazry to get off his lazy ass and take pictures of me.

Like I said, most unproductive but most beautifully well spent day; Because that was it - And I loved every moment of it.

Eat, Pray, LOVE

Stripe Shirt: Picnic | Denim Shorts: Vintage Levis Silver Tab | Camo printed Swimwear: Roxy | Sandals: Sam Edelman (Similar here)| Sunglasses: Vintage Ray Ban

I can now strike the Love out of 'Eat, Pray, Love.'

If you have been following me on Instagram (which you should), you would have known by now that I took a nice little trip to Bali town recently. It was kind of like a late christmas + my birthday + pre new year's celebration with my boyfriend.
We stayed in a ravishing villa in Nusa Dua, a very niche and serene part of Bali. And to be honest, retreating back to the villa everyday was one of my favourite parts of the trip.

Stay tune while I upload the rest of the Bali pictures and blog about them.
I am having Bali withdrawal symptoms....
