Casual Gold

Dress: Vintage | Necklaces: Butler&Wilson inspired, Topshop | Shades: Vintage Ray Ban | Sneakers: SupergaLinen bag: Marni (In cognac leather here)

I hope that everyone has had a fantastic Christmas celebration with families, friends and loved ones. If you have been following me on Instagram, you would have known that yes, I am back in Singapore for the holidays. How could I not?

Today I was pulling off a laid back gold palette.
This is a particular colour palette I adore most when it is at its most informal state. The dress is a vintage that I picked up few weeks ago at my favourite store in Jakarta. The silhouette is unlike any other and the gold is in such a mellow muted tone. Definitely one of my favourites!
The Superga's are a Christmas present from Nazry.
Last Christmas, he bought me the exact same shoe in a different colour which I wore religiously. It is now in its best state - one of a kind, natural vintage effect. Once again, thank you Nazry. <3

Tomorrow we are gonna hop onto a plane to escape to Bali for my birthday retreat. :)
It is both our first times there. So if there are anything tips on food, places, shopping or anything at all, do share.
Will appreciate it so much. x

Project Happiness #04: Step into Christmas!

I have been so cooped up that I haven't had time to do my Christmas decor in the bedroom. With Christmas being 2 days away, and I will be back in Singapore by then, I don't see a point in creating a wreath or hang garlands and fairy lights which I get to appreciate only for 1 night.
This afternoon, I popped by my favourite knick-knack store at Kemang, Chic Mart, for a quick shopping.
Bought these pressed dried flower cards from there. Dried flowers exude a vintage nostalgia impression that I love oh so much... The muted tones are so delicate and such a delight to be looking at them. I came home and immediately started penning down Christmas greetings to all my friends and family.

Happy Holidays fellow readers. xxx

Holiday Playlist

Happy T.G.I.F Everyone!
I have never been more thankful for it is Friday.
Holidays have officially begun! Just 4 more days and I will be flying halfway across South East Asia back to where my family and friends are. Over the weekends, there are just a couple of loose knots I have to tie and finish up the rest of my Christmas project.
Meanwhile, enjoy this Holiday playlist I have compiled specially for you!
Oh, I can really hardly wait....

Instagram @juddaye

Instagram is one social media I seem to be addicted to. And everyone else of course.
My daily life consisting of who I meet, where I go, what I eat, and what I am wearing are all snapped shot into my tiny device (iPhone) and loaded up to Instagram. Its also where I get updates from most of my friends in Singapore. The details of their lives and what they have been up to.
One great thing about Instagram is that, you don't have to be a good photographer (which I am not). So, follow me @juddaye if you must, to see little peeks of what I have got in stored.

Suit down.

Blazer: Zara (Similar Here) ; Peter pan collared shirt: Topshop ; Denim shorts: Vintage Levis Silver tab ; Sneakers: Superga ; Linen bag: Marni (In cognac leather here)

In this casual smart look, I threw on my very worn out sneakers, and a 90's Levis silver tab jeans which my sister cut ruined them into cuffed shorts - which turned out great.
Dressing down a black work blazer is one of my favourite "easy-to-go" outfit. You can look chic and sharp but still feel decent without exposing too much skin. In my opinion, living in Jakarta has made 70% of my clothes unworn and untouched. Its all part of a - living in a foreign country, dress decently... Otherwise, be prepared to get rob - phase. Although it has been 7 months, I still feel foreign in this country.

Is it me or do you feel the same way too?

A trip to the market.

Parka Jacket: Random ; Orange Skort: Vintage ; Leather boots: Topshop ; Bag: Vintage Picard

On Nazry - Military Shirt: Random ; Printed Shorts: ASOS

One of my comfiest and snuggled looks I have worn in awhile.
This is my outfit when we went scouting for Jaapoh Vintage - tank top, light weighted shorts and a comfy outerwear incase it rains. The market we went to was a really rundown old building and the floors were pretty much uneven. Luckily I was wearing my trusty worn out boots from ages ago.

Anyways, the weather in Jakarta recently has been nothing but amazing. It drizzles but never pours, and the sun has not been scorching hot like how it was just a month ago.
I love monsoon season, so much.
Wearing several layers and not feeling sticky in this tropical climate is probably the best feeling ever.
